Just looking through some photos from Tuesdays gig in Islignton. I'm 18 and have been a fan forever, this was my first gig though, can't believe how privileged I was to be there.
Me and my friend Jen travelled down to London from Liverpool and got our friends some postcards of the queen.. They kepy us occupied most of the way home ;)

Just wanted to share that I mentioned KISS in my school paper. It's about how music has lost it's soul, and there's a few paragraphs about KISS in there, and the greatness the seems to come out of all they do. Naturally, being a huge KISS fan, I couldn't write an article about the music industry without spreading the Gospel of KISS a little.

I really hope you are reading the emails because they are really from the heart of those who care about you. I read the then and now review, and this is my version.
Then,1976,I knew there was a special connection with you, KISS.I was about a 15 year old country girl taking care of the neighbor's sheep for money and not able to drive to big Seattle for any concert. But the dream of being in your presence never stopped. Fast forward to last winter when Im at age 46,and Kiss(along with the Rocky movies for some reason)helped me pace through the 3 surgeries and stays at Seattle Children's Hospital for my now 17yr old Daughter. Nov 15,2009 I finally made it to see you in Seattle and Im so grateful that you are stronger than ever. And Tommy and Eric..You are amazing and I love learning about you

I'm only 19 years old so I obviously can't say that I remember hear about KISS coming to Cadillac. But, knowing that I graduated from Cadillac High School, makes me feel like the history is kind of mine as well. I think it's amazing that such a huge band would come to such a small town homecoming weekend, but it is true, no one will forget it, whether they were there or not. It's awesome the appreciation that this band has and had for it's fan!!!

Well, even though I couldn't get a ticket (AKA Gold Dust) it is apparent that -yet again- KISS has triumphed with their club show at ISLINGTON. Aother show like this should be arranged later in the year AND FILMED .... for KISSTORY!!!!!!
This is one hell of a band!!! After all these years, who woulda thought they'd be the best band of the 21st (!!!) century... forget the rest, we wanted the best and KISS DELIVERS - bigstyle, always. This is the best KISS "live" lineup ever cos you are guaranteed 100% from all 4 members every time... and there's no sloppiness now. I'm an old fan and still luv ace and peter, but this lineup ROCKS!!!
Oh, and it must be mentioned... SONIC BOOM is the MOST enjoyable KISS album EVER!!! Kudos to PAUL for marshalling the forces for this one. I'm enjoying the anticipation of KISS coming to play for us here in the UK again... Just having the ticket makes me feel good. MANY THANKS Gene, Paul, Tommy & Eric.

Dear KISS,
I have loved your band since I was about 2 years old, but I am only 11 so some people might not have considered it a long time. But I i don't listen, cause I love you so much. I will always love this band. I have done many things that I have tricked out KISS style, like on Halloween at my school we had to design original costumes. So, I made a costume of all 4 KISS members. Also, on the 3rd grade Variety Fair, I made a shoebox diorama, and Gene, I met you in New York once when you were signing books, do you remember a girl that gave you a picture? That was me! And my mom is the woman that asked you how you make your breakfast, my brother asked you if there was going to be a KISS GuitarHero, and my dad was speechless and only said, "35 years". That was us! If you remember. And Paul, when you were at a NJ mall showing and selling your artwork. I was disappointed that you didn't noticed me but I was surprised at the end when you said you liked my sweatshirt with the flowers. I know Peter Criss isn't in the band anymore, but he will always be my idol. The picture attached to the letter is a picture of me as him for Halloween 2009. The dolls and rabbit are dressed up as Paul, Ace, and Gene. Your band changed my life. I am even planning to ask the band teacher to teach us to play a KISS song for the concert next year. I am thinking.. maybe Detroit Rock City. One last thing before I write a whole story. If you ever see Peter again can you show him the picture and tell him that I live in NJ too, and for Breast Cancer Awareness Month I got a pink extension in my hair for him. Will you tell him that if you ever see him?

Just wanted to drop you a line letting you know what an awe-inspiring experience it was seeing you again in concert (Greenville, S.C.) after first seeing you in 1976. I took my girlfriend who had never experienced the power & electricity of your show before, she is now a die hard fan as I knew she would be! I have no less than thirty friends who are waiting to join us at your next performance here in South Carolina! Please tell us that you will keep touring, you are only getting better with age.
