WOW!!!!! The Hottest Band in The World is back.. not that you ever went away in my eyes... What a fantastic feel good booster at these uncertain times, 3 great disc for the price of 1. I pre-ordered my copy as soon as it was availible to do so in England, and since it arrived there have only been 3 discs in my CD player, the awsome "Sonic Boom", "Kiss Klassics" and the third the brilliant "Anomaly" by Ace Frehley (I'm sure you'll agree it's great to have Ace doing so well too). Thanks to Eric and Tommy for the injection of new blood and energy, you guys rock!!!! Paul what a fantastic job on the production of "Sonic" and the writing of new KISS classic songs "Stand", "Modern Day Delilah" and "Say Yeah". Gene, who else could write songs like "Yes, I know" and "Hot and Cold" (humourous, witty and a dash of TONGUE in cheek). Not forgetting Eric and Tommy, on your tracks you're sounding good guys. This is a classic KISS album no doubt, 11 songs of pure Rock 'n' Roll to blast the charts with some good time music (I am sick of all the stuff that says how bad the world is). Good luck guys with the Hall of Fame votes. If they wont let all the KISS family be entered in, then in my opinion just Paul and Gene should be entered. Whenever people ask me what K.I.S.S. stands for, I tell them Kiss. Is. Stanley. Simmons, because you guys have kept this BEAST Rocking and Rolling over the years. You've had tough decisions to make, replacements and such, and always for the enhancement of the band. You guys deserve the recognition that comes from keeping your band top of the pile. All the best, Demonsodyssey

I just got Sonic Boom and it is amazing. I also bought every item in the KISS KORNER in Walmart. Sonic Boom is all killer no filler. My dad and I also got to see KISS on September 28th in the 18th row on the floor. I saved money all summer to buy my ticket. I was the greatest concert I've ever seen. I have seen 12 concerts and KISS put on the best concert I've ever seen. They blew Quicken Loans Arena to pieces. KISS Alive! is what inspired me to play guitar. It is my abolute favorite album. Theyre music is a huge part of my life. They care so much about their fans. I love KISS!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE GREAT ROCK N ROLL!!!!!!

To the members of KISS

Congratulations for an incredible album, packaging, presentation etc., I listened to Sonic Boom 3 times without pause and have not been this excited about a new Kiss album since Destroyer's release. I feel young again and I Thank You for that!

I'm Looking forward to the show in *Atlanta, October 26 and interestingly enough, I have not seen Kiss in concert since the Revenge tour...

Suffice it to say I can't miss THIS tour, this line up (which truly is MY favorite line up). Oh, and by the way I wrote the band via. Kiss Online approximately 1 year ago requesting *"ya'll" should release Kissology 4; I do so again now because much Kisstory has been written since the "Rock The Nation" dvd hit store shelves...

Be that as it may, Thank You Kiss from the bottom of my heart for continuing to surprise and impress me; when other 30 plus year old band's have "played-out" well past their prime, Kiss has yet to find their peak!

Ric, Kiss fan since 1975

PS Check out the pic of myself and my Father - The Diploma in my hand is from the Bible College I am STILL attending - not all Christians are outside the arena holding signs! Thought you might get a kick in pants out of that!

Hello KISS Army! Hope you had as much fun October 6th a I did! I was at Wal-mart at midnight to pick up Sonic Boom the second it came out of the shipping boxes. I received an advanced copy of the 11 new songs last week, but the sound quality can not compare to the official version, not to mention the awesome packaging, Klassic Kiss re-recordings and live DVD!

I took the day off from work and went to a different Wal-Mart at 6 a.m. to pick up the new merchandise at the KISS corner. Of course it wasn't yet set up, so I went back a few hours later and picked up various KISS goodies at a great price! My buddy Rich and I were saying that we felt like little kids again, thinking back to the times we used to ride our bikes to the local K-mart to buy Kiss merchandise in the late 1970's. Only Kiss could make two 42 year old guys feel like they were 12 years old again! It's just the magic of KISS!

Sonic Boom is not only the best KISS record to come along since Creatures of the Night, it is destined to rank right along side DESTROYER ROCK AND ROLL OVER and LOVE GUN as one of their best records EVER! The song writing is stellar. The sound quality is full, warm, and classically analog! The musicianship is tight- Gene in particular plays some great bass lines reminiscent of his "McCartnyesque" stylings on the band's debut release and Dressed to Kill. Gene's bass sound is FAT, JUICY, and in-your face- like all of Paul's fantastic production on this record. Paul's vocals are strong as ever, as is his solid guitar playing.

Tommy's leads show a heavy Ace influence (always a good thing) and his own flair for 6 string pyrotechnics. His solos would fit in well on any of KISS' first six studio records. Tommy "gets it". He is the perfect guitarist for KISS to add to their already considerable legacy! On Drums, Eric Singer is ...well, he's Eric Singer- one of the greatest drummers in Rock and Roll and one cool cat ta boot! Eric brings technically impressive, yet SOLID drumming, along with great vocals to Sonic Boom, just as he has to every KISS recording and tour he has performed on since the early 1990's.

Kiss Army, if you do not yet own Sonic Boom, you simply MUST add it to your collection. I have been a KISS fan since May of 1976, and I am telling you this is not just a good, but a GREAT record, full of catchy, hook-laden, powerful songs that will make you want to pump your fist in the air! Lyrically, the record is truly classic KISS- positive, good humored, fun lyrics that make you feel ALIVE!

In addition, the live DVD included in the Sonic Boom package captures the band at full-throttle excellence, performing in front of a sold-out stadium crowd in Buenos Aires. The band simply CRUSHES in every way, shape and form, belting out classics like Deuce, Watchin' You, and Comon' and Love Me (amongst others) as if their lives depended on it! Trust me on this KISS Army, I own countless hours of KISS concert footage, shot throughout their entire career and I am not exaggerating when I tell you this live DVD shows the band at the TOP of their game!

Finally, Thank you Paul, Gene, Eric and Tommy for Sonic Boom. It is a KISS fans dream come true, and thank you Paul and Gene for 30-plus years of music, mayhem, magic, and memories! I wanted the best, I GOT the best- yet again!

This thing is louder than the space shuttle coming in over Edwards Air Force base. I feel like my innards have been mixed up as I turned up my stereo. In true KISS fashion, the police were summoned. I simply explained to blame it on Paul Stanley as he gave a standing order to one of the KISS Army soldiers to turn it up loud. You guys really love your fans and it shows. I also feel like Tommy and Eric are really true members of the band turning in great performances while remaining true in style to their predescessors. Everything feels so new and fresh. It's another rebirth of the dream. A dream that a lot of us KISS Army members shared in initially. That we get to be part of something really special in music and in our lives. And to those that don't get it, we don't really need you around anyway. Gene and Paul you have made so many dreams of my own come true by imparting such a kick ass philosophy and work ethic. I am so proud once again to be a fan of the greatest rock n roll band on planet earth. Or Planet KISS I should say! Love you guys like friends or brothers. Their is a great comaraderie amongst the band and your fans. Re: Letterman last night. You guys looked like kids again at the Coventry. I was in tears. Thank you for brigning so much joy and happiness to my life for $12.00. What an awesome gift to myself during these crazy economic times.
Can't wait to see you when you come to Los Angeles. Rock on Boys.

Hi Gene,

My compliments on the new record. It is everything everyone expects and more. As a fan since 1975, I’m proud of you guys. Two things: first, an observation about the song Russian Roulette. I really like the song and as I was listening to it, it just reminded me of something that the late great Eric Carr could have sung. It sounds so much like the stuff he used to sing. I hope you keep him in your memories like I do. The second thing is a thank you for the very reasonable prices on this tour. I don’t know how ticket prices are determined and what if anything Kiss had to do with them, but because they are so reasonable, I was able to purchase tickets for my entire family at the upcoming Dallas show without going into debt. You guys always break the mold and then recast it. Truly, you are leaders and not followers. Here’s to the Hall of Fame induction!
gary.

Sonic Boom is everything that a KISS album should be and more. No outside producers and writers was the best call because we wanted a true KISS album done by the band themselves. With the new songs, the re-recorded greatest hits, a 20-page booklet, and a DVD of the Buenos Aires show, all for the price of $12 is something I can't pass up. I hope this is the start of a series of new albums with the current lineup. This is KISS for the 21st Century.

I just finished listening to the new album Sonic Boom. I gotta tell ya, I was reserved and wanted to judge it for myself despite all of the positive reviews I've heard. Soooo, do not take this the wrong way but you just made many of your other albums seem weak compared to this one. This album is a triumph and tribute to Klassic KISS while still capturing the NOW!! Congrats boys, see you in Calgary!!
